Last summer, 24 entrepeneurs spent two weeks figuring it out.
StartupSummer Oslo is being hosted for the third time this summer. This is a Norwegian initiative aimed at coming entrepreneurs with an urge to kickstart their business venture. This year, we are teaming up with Grundergarasjen at IT Fornebu. Our aim is to provide funding and strategic partnerships for startups by the end of a two week intensive incubator program. This years program take place from 17th to 30th of June. You bring a business idea, a kick ass team, and a lot of guts. We put up a intensive mentoring program, resources needed, and access to the vibrant Norwegian Startup Scene. The best applicants will be selected. The program is a cooperation between Startup Norway, Business Model User Group, and Simula Research Park. What is Startupsummer?
Startupsummer is a summer incubator, where you take an idea to a product in two weeks. The program is aimed at young entrepreneurs, that has started or wants to start a business. We prefer applicants who allready have a team, and who will have a good chance of achieving great progress in two weeks. The last day, there will be investor presentations. The incubator program aims at providing the best startups with funding and strategic partnerships. When and where is Startup summer?
This year, we are partnering with Simula Research Park, to provide excellent facilities during the program. The program will be held from the 17th of June to the 30 of June. Expect to be working around the clock!! Who is responsible for Startupsummer 2013?
The program is hosted by Startup Norway, Business Model User Group and Simula Research Park . We work closely with StartupWeekend different mentors to put together the best possible program. Preferably, but not neccessarily. We will also consider strongly motivated applicants, both with and without a team. Write an inspiring application, and we will have a talk to consider the possibilities of creating another team, or starting something completely new this summer. Who will be accepted? Typical participants are skilled and motivated team players. You should be good at improvising and solving problems. StartupSummer should be a good way for new entrepeurs to take part in the Norwegian startup community. Among the successfull applicants, we have a list of new entrepreneurs, wanting to kickstart and test an idea. |
